MD, MPH, FRCSC

Dr. Michael Chow obtained his medical degree at Queen's University, graduating in 1994. He completed his neurosurgical residency training at Dalhousie University and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2001. He then did a one year microsurgical vascular fellowship with Dr. Neal Kassell at the University of Virginia in 2002. Next, he moved on to the Cleveland Clinic where he completed a 2 year endovascular neurosurgery/interventional neuroradiology fellowship. Over the course of his fellowship training, he completed a Masters of Public Health at Harvard University, graduating in 2003.

He joined the University of Alberta in 2004. His sub-specialty interest is in endovascular and microsurgical treatment of vascular neurosurgical problems.
